How it works
From the US prescribing label for the same active substance (DAYVIGO). It describes the substance, not this exact product.
The mechanism of action of lemborexant in the treatment of insomnia is presumed to be through antagonism of orexin receptors.
The orexin neuropeptide signaling system plays a role in wakefulness.
Lemborexant is primarily metabolized by CYP3A4, and to a lesser extent by CYP3A5.
Effect of Food Lemborexant C max decreased by 23%, AUC 0-inf increased by 18%, and t max was delayed by 2 hours following administration of a high-fat and high-calorie meal (containing approximately 150, 250, and 500 to 600 calories from protein, carbohydrate, and fat, respectively).
