How it works
From the US prescribing label for the same active substance (Umeclidinium Ellipta). It describes the substance, not this exact product.
Umeclidinium is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist, which is often referred to as an anticholinergic.
It has similar affinity to the subtypes of muscarinic receptors M1 to M5.
In vitro data showed that umeclidinium is primarily metabolized by the enzyme cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) and is a substrate for the P-glycoprotein (P-gp) transporter.
