What it is for

Do not take it if
- si es alérgico a los principios activos o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6);
- si presenta alguna anomalía congénita del metabolismo de las proteínas y los aminoácidos;
- si presenta trastornos graves (es decir, potencialmente mortales) de la circulación (choque cardiovascular);
- si presenta un aporte insuficiente de oxígeno (hipoxia);
- si presenta sustancias ácidas acumuladas en su sangre (acidosis metabólica);
- si presenta disfunción renal grave (insuficiencia renal grave) no tratada adecuadamente con un aparato de hemodiálisis o tratamientos similares;
- si presenta insuficiencia cardiaca mal controlada con un deterioro notable de la circulación sanguínea (insuficiencia cardiaca descompensada);
- si presenta acumulación de líquido en los pulmones (edema pulmonar agudo);

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a usar Aminoplasmal HEPA;
- si sus riñones no funcionan correctamente, su médico considerará si esta solución es adecuada para usted. Su dosis diaria se ajustará cuidadosamente en función de la gravedad de la insuficiencia renal;
- si presenta alguna insuficiencia en su función cardiaca;
- si presenta un suero sanguíneo concentrado anormalmente alto (osmolaridad sérica alta).
- Si presenta alteraciones en el equilibrio de sal y agua, se debe corregir esta afección antes de que reciba este medicamento. Algunos ejemplos de esta afección son la falta de agua y sales al mismo tiempo (deshidratación hipotónica) o la falta de sodio (hiponatremia) o de potasio (hipopotasemia).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.
- Embarazo
- Si está embarazada, recibirá este medicamento solo si el médico lo considera necesario para su recuperación. No hay datos disponibles sobre el uso de este medicamento en mujeres embarazadas.
- Lactancia
- A dosis terapéuticas de Aminoplasmal HEPA, no se espera ningún efecto en el recién nacido/lactante. Sin embargo, no se recomienda la lactancia materna si las mujeres necesitan alimentación por vía intravenosa al mismo tiempo.

Driving and using machines
Este medicamento se administra normalmente a pacientes inmóviles en un entorno controlado (tratamiento de emergencia, tratamiento agudo en un hospital o en una unidad de cuidados diurna). Esto excluirá la conducción y el uso de máquinas.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en las etiquetas del frasco y de la caja después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
