What it is for
- Difenadol contiene el principio activo ibuprofeno. Ibuprofeno es un medicamento que reduce la fiebre y alivia el dolor (medicamento antiinflamatorio no esteroideo (AINE).

Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico (hipersensible) al ibuprofeno o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6). Las reacciones que indican la alergia podrían ser: hinchazón de los párpados, labios, lengua o garganta.
- Si alguna vez ha tenido una reacción alérgica (como broncoespasmo (tensión de los músculos de los pulmones que puede causar falta de aliento), asma (secreción nasal, picor e inflamación de las fosas nasales con estornudos), urticaria (un tipo de erupción en la piel), o angioedema (hinchazón debajo de la piel) después de tomar ibuprofeno, ácido acetilsalicílico u otros analgésicos similares (AINEs).
- Si padece trastornos hemorrágicos o de la coagulación sanguínea.
- Si tiene una úlcera activa o historia recurrente de úlcera estomacal/duodenal (úlcera péptica) o sangrado (dos o más episodios de ulceración probados o sangrado).

Warnings and precautions
- Las reacciones adversas se minimizan utilizando la dosis eficaz más baja durante el periodo más corto de tiempo.
- Debe consultar su tratamiento con su médico o farmacéutico antes de tomar Difenadol:
- Si tiene lupus eritematoso sistémico (LES, a veces conocido como lupus) o una enfermedad del tejido conectivo (enfermedades autoinmunes que afectan el tejido conectivo).
- Si tiene o ha tenido enfermedad intestinal (colitis ulcerosa o enfermedad de Crohn) ya que su condición puede empeorar.
- Si tiene trastornos hereditarios en la formación de la sangre (por ej. porfiria intermitente aguda).
- Si tiene la función hepática o renal reducida.
- Después de ser sometido a una cirugía mayor.
- Si es sensible (alérgico) a otras sustancias.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.
- Embarazo
- No tome este medicamento en los últimos 3 meses de embarazo, ya que podría perjudicar al feto o provocar problemas durante el parto. Puede provocar problemas renales y cardíacos a su feto. Puede afectar a su predisposición y la de su bebé a sangrar y retrasar o alargar el parto más de lo esperado.
- No debe tomar este medicamento en los 6 primeros meses del embarazo a no ser que sea claramente necesario y como le indique su médico.

Driving and using machines
Ibuprofeno generalmente tiene una influencia nula o insignificante sobre la capacidad para conducir y utilizar máquinas. Sin embargo, a dosis más altas podrían aparecer efectos adversos como cansancio y mareo, la capacidad de reacción puede verse afectada al conducir y manejar máquinas. Esto es especialmente importante cuando se combina el medicamento con alcohol.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la caja después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
- Este medicamento no requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.
