What it is for
- Isoplasmal es un suplemento nutricional que se administra directamente en vena , que contiene sustancias esenciales para las funciones del organismo.
- Se utiliza para cubrir las necesidades de proteínas, glucosa, electrolitos y líquidos en periodos de ayuno limitado.

Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico (hipersensible) a cualquiera de los componentes de Isoplasmal
- Si usted tiene:
- alguna anomalía de su metabolismo (degradación) de aminoácidos
- alteraciones del hígado avanzadas
- alteración de la función del riñón (insuficiencia renal) con valores anormales en los niveles del nitrógeno residual
- exceso de potasio en sangre (hiperkalemia)
- exceso de agua en el organismo (hiperhidratación)
- alteración de la función del corazón (insuficiencia cardíaca manifiesta)
- acidosis
- diabetes mellitus
- exceso de glucosa en sangre (hiperglicemia)
- Isoplasmal n o debe usarse en prematuros y recién nacidos.

How to take it
These directions are for this exact strength and form. Another one is different.
- Este medicamento siempre lo administrará personal sanitario.
- Su médico determinar á la cantidad que usted necesita diariamente. La dosis máxima es de 4 0 ml por k g de su peso corporal y por día.
- Este medicamento debe administrarse en vena y gota a gota.
- Si usa más Isoplasmal del que debiera

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Durante el embarazo, su médico decidirá después de valorar los posibles beneficios y los riesgos de la administración de Isoplasmal , si puede tomar este medicamento.
- Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar cualquier medicamento.

Side effects
- Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Isoplasmal puede causar efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.
- E n casos excepcionales , y cuando se administra Isoplasmal con una velocidad demasiado rápida , p uede n haber pérdidas de aminoácidos por la orina.

How to store it
- Mantener fuera del alcance y de la vista de los niños.
- No conservar a temperatura superior a 25°C.
- Conservarlas bolsas en el embalaje exterior para protegerlas de la luz .
