How to take it
These directions are for this exact strength and form. Another one is different.
Maintelyte le será administrado por un médico o un enfermero. Su médico decidirá cuánta cantidad necesita y cuándo debe administrarse. Esto dependerá de su edad, su peso, su estado clínico y el tratamiento concomitante. Su médico podrá comprobar los niveles de sales (electrolitos) y azúcar (glucosa) que tiene en la sangre.

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico si tiene o ha tenido cualquiera de las siguientes situaciones clínicas:
- alergia al maíz, ya que Maintelyte contiene azúcar derivado del maíz; ver la sección “Posibles efectos adversos”;
- insuficiencia cardíaca, trastorno de frecuencia cardíaca grave u otra enfermedad cardíaca;
- enfermedad pulmonar (insuficiencia respiratoria);
- insuficiencia renal o función renal reducida;
- cantidad elevada de líquidos en el cuerpo o acumulación de líquido en los pulmones o bajo la piel, particularmente en los tobillos;
- presión arterial alta;
- presión arterial alta durante el embarazo (pre-eclampsia o eclampsia);
- una enfermedad que causa la elevación de una hormona denominada aldosterona (aldosteronismo);

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico antes de utilizar este medicamento. Su médico decidirá si puede usar Maintelyte durante el embarazo o la lactancia.

Side effects

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la bolsa después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
- No conservar a temperatura superior a 25 C.
