What it is for
- Nephrotect es una solución que aporta aminoácidos como parte de la nutrición parenteral en pacientes con fallo renal cuando otros tipos de alimentación no son convenientes. La solución puede ser usada en pacientes con fallo renal agudo o crónico, incluyendo pacientes que reciben tratamiento de diálisis.

How to take it

- Su médico decidirá de la dosis a administrarle individualmente según su peso corporal y función.
- El profesional sanitario le administrara Nephrotect.
- Si le administran más Nephrotect del que deben
- Es poco probable que reciba demasiado Nephrotect ya que el producto se administra por profesionales sanitarios.

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico antes de que le administren Nephrotect :
- si tiene una concentración anormalmente baja de sodio en la sangre (hiponatremia)
- si tiene un nivel alto en la sangre de los siguientes componentes: sodio, cloruro, bicarbonato, proteínas, y azúcar (glucosa). Su médico controlara estos niveles durante el tratamiento con Nephrotect.
- Normalmente, un análisis de sangre o de orina permitirá verificar estos niveles.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- No hay experiencia adecuada del uso de Nephrotect durante el embarazo y la lactancia. Su médico valorará la necesidad de emplear este medicamento.
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico antes de utilizar este medicamento Su médico decidirá si se le debe administrar Nephrotect.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- Conservar el envase en el embalaje exterior.
- No conservar a temperatura superior a 25°C
- No utilice Nephrotect después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
