Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico a olanzapina o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6). Una reacción alérgica se puede reconocer por la aparición de sarpullidos, picores o hinchazón en la cara, en los labios, la lengua o el cuello, disnea o dificultad para respirar. Si esto le sucediera, avise a su médico.
- Si previamente se le han diagnosticado problemas oculares como ciertos tipos de glaucoma (aumento de la presión en el ojo).

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a tomar Olanzapina Flas Viatris.
- Si tiene o algún familiar tiene antecedentes de coágulos sanguíneos, ya que los medicamentos de este tipo se han asociado a la formación de coágulos de sangre.
- Si es un anciano con demencia, ya que puede experimentar efectos adversos graves.
- Si padece diabetes.
- Si padece una enfermedad del corazón.
- Si se le ha indicado que padece desequilibrios en sales en la sangre (especialmente niveles bajos de potasio o magnesio).
- Si nació con una prolongación del intervalo QT (ver en el ECG, registro de un electrocardiograma).
- Si padece problemas hepáticos o renales.
- Si padece enfermedad de Parkinson.
- Si tiene antecedentes de ataques o convulsiones (epilepsia).
- Si padece agrandamiento prostático.
- Si padece obstrucción intestinal (íleo paralítico).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento. No debe tomar este medicamento durante la lactancia, ya que pequeñas cantidades de olanzapina pueden pasar a la leche materna.
- Los siguientes síntomas pueden darse en bebés lactantes o en madres que han tomado olanzapina en el último trimestre del embarazo (últimos tres meses del embarazo): temblores, rigidez y/o debilidad muscular, somnolencia, agitación, problemas para respirar y dificultades alimenticias. Si su bebé presenta alguno de estos síntomas debe ponerse en contacto con su médico.

Driving and using machines
No conduzca, ya que existe riesgo de somnolencia o mareo durante el tratamiento con olanzapina. Si esto pasa, no conduzca ni maneje herramientas o máquinas. Consulte a su médico.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la caja de cartón, blíster o etiqueta del frasco, después de CAD o EXP. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
