Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico (hipersensible) a olanzapina o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6). La reacción alérgica puede manifestarse en forma de erupción, picor, hinchazón de la cara o de los labios o dificultad para respirar. Si le pasara esto dígaselo a su médico.
- Si previamente se le ha diagnosticado glaucoma de ángulo estrecho.
- Si es menor de 18 años.

Warnings and precautions
- Medicamentos de este tipo pueden provocar movimientos inusuales, sobre todo en la cara o en la lengua. Si le pasara esto después de haber tomado Olanzapina Kern Pharma, dígaselo a su médico.
- Muy raramente, medicamentos de este tipo producen una combinación de fiebre, respiración acelerada, sudoración, rigidez muscular y un estado de obnubilación o somnolencia. Si le ocurriera esto, suspenda la medicación y póngase de inmediato en contacto con su médico.
- La utilización de Olanzapina Kern Pharmaen pacientes de edad avanzada con demencia no se recomienda ya que puede tener efectos adversos graves.
- Si usted padece cualquiera de las siguientes enfermedades, hágaselo saber a su médico lo antes posible:
- Diabetes
- Enfermedades del corazón
- Enfermedad del hígado o riñón
- Enfermedad de parkinson
- Epilepsia
- Problemas de próstata
- Bloqueo intestinal (Íleo paralítico)
- Alteraciones de la sangre

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, o cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.
- Embarazo:
- Los recién nacidos de madres que han utilizado olanzapina en el último trimestre de embarazo pueden presentar los siguientes síntomas: temblor, rigidez de los músculos y/o debilidad, somnolencia, agitación, problemas para respirar y para recibir alimentación. Si su hijo recién nacido presenta cualquiera de estos síntomas póngase en contacto con el médico.
- Lactancia:
- No debe tomar este medicamento cuando esté en periodo de lactancia ya que pequeñas cantidades de Olanzapina Kern Pharma pueden pasar a la leche materna.

Other medicines
Sólo use otros medicamentos al mismo tiempo que Olanzapina Kern Pharma si su médico se lo autoriza. Es posible que usted sienta cierta sensación de sueño si combina Olanzapina Kern Pharmacon antidepresivos o medicamentos para la ansiedad o que ayuden a dormir (tranquilizantes). Informe a su médico especialmente si está tomando medicación para la enfermedad del parkinson.

Driving and using machines
Olanzapina puede producir síntomas tales como somnolencia, mareo o alteraciones en la vista, y disminuir la capacidad de reacción. Estos efectos así como la propia enfermedad pueden dificultar su capacidad para conducir vehículos o manejar máquinas. Por lo tanto no conduzca, ni maneje máquinas, ni practique otras actividades que requieran especial atención, hasta que su médico valore su respuesta a este medicamento.

Side effects
- Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Olanzapina Kern Pharma puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.
- Los efectos adversos observados se clasifican según su frecuencia de presentación:
- Muy frecuentes (pueden afectar a más de 1 de cada 10 personas):
- Aumento de peso
- Somnolencia

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
