- PHYSIONEAL 40 es una solución para diálisis peritoneal. Elimina el agua y los productos de desecho de la sangre. Además, corrige los niveles anormales de los distintos componentes de la sangre.

Do not take it if
- si es alérgico a los principios activos o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
- si tiene algún problema no corregible quirúrgicamente que afecta a su pared o cavidad
- abdominal o una alteración incorregible que aumente el riesgo de infecciones abdominales
- si padece una pérdida documentada de función peritoneal debido a una cicatriz peritoneal grave.

How to take it
These directions are for this exact strength and form. Another one is different.
- PHYSIONEAL 40 debe administrarse en su cavidad peritoneal. Esta cavidad se encuentra en el
- abdomen (barriga) entre la piel y el peritoneo. El peritoneo es la membrana que rodea los órganos internos, como los intestinos o el hígado.
- No usar por vía intravenosa.

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico antes de empezar a usar PHYSIONEAL 40.
- Tenga especial precaución:
- Si sufre problemas graves que afecten a la integridad de la pared o cavidad abdominal. Por ejemplo, en caso de hernia o infección crónica o enfermedad inflamatoria que afecte a los intestinos.
- Si tiene un injerto de aorta.
- Si tiene dificultades graves para respirar.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico antes de utilizar este medicamento. No se recomienda el uso de Physioneal durante el embarazo o la lactancia a menos que su médico se lo aconseje.

Other medicines
- Informe a su médico si está utilizando o ha utilizado recientemente otros medicamentos,
- incluso los adquiridos sin receta.
- Si utiliza otros medicamentos, es posible que el médico necesite aumentar su dosis ya que el tratamiento con diálisis peritoneal aumenta la eliminación de determinados medicamentos.
