What it is for
- Prothromplex Total se prepara a partir de plasma humano (la parte líquida de la sangre). Contiene los factores de coagulación sanguínea II, VII, IX y X (factores de coagulación del complejo de protrombina) y proteína C.

Do not take it if
- si es alérgico a los factores de coagulación o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
- si la heparina le ha producido o sospecha que le ha producido alguna vez una disminución de plaquetas, las células que se encargan de la coagulación sanguínea (trombocitopenia inducida por heparina).

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico antes de usar Prothromplex Total
- ya que existe la rara posibilidad de que pueda desarrollar una reacción alérgica grave repentina (reacción anafiláctica) a Prothromplex Total porque se han notificado reacciones alérgicas de ese tipo.
- Puede encontrar información detallada sobre los primeros síntomas de este tipo de reacción alérgica en la sección 4 “Posibles efectos adversos”
- si tiene una deficiencia adquirida de los factores de coagulación dependientes de la vitamina K.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento. Prothromplex Total se puede utilizar durante el embarazo y el periodo de lactancia solo en aquellos casos en los que esté clínicamente indicado.

How to store it
- Conservar en nevera (entre 2ºC y 8ºC) . No congelar.
