What it is for
- Synthamin es una solución estéril que contiene un gran número de compuestos llamados aminoácidos. Estos son los bloques de construcción para las proteínas que son vitales para su cuerpo. También contiene algunas sustancias químicas llamadas electrolitos, que son muy importantes para que su cuerpo funcione correctamente.

How to take it

- Uso en adultos
- Su médico determinará una velocidad de perfusión en función de sus necesidades y su estado clínico, lo que dependerá de su peso, de las necesidades de su organismo, de la cantidad de solución azucarada (como la glucosa) que se le puede dar y de la causa de su tratamiento.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, o cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.
- La seguridad en el uso de soluciones de aminoácidos en mujeres embarazadas o durante la lactancia no ha sido demostrada. Su médico evaluará detenidamente los beneficios y los posibles riegos antes de prescribir Synthamin.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- Cuando se utilice en en recién nacidos y niños menores de 2 años, la solución (en las bolsas y equipos de administración) se debe proteger de la exposición a la luz hasta que finalice la administración (ver sección 2).
