How to take it

These directions are for this exact strength and form. Another one is different.

Viaflo Plasmalyte 148 (pH 7,4) le será administrado por un médico o un enfermer. Su médico decidirá cuánta cantidad necesita y cuándo debe administrarse. Esto dependerá de su edad, su peso, su estado físico y el motivo del tratamiento. La cantidad que reciba también puede verse influida por otros tratamientos que reciba.

Warnings and precautions

  • Informe a su médico si padece o ha padecido cualquiera de los siguientes trastornos médicos.
  • insuficiencia cardíaca.
  • insuficiencia respiratoria (enfermedad pulmonar).
  • insuficiencia renal.
  • (en los casos anteriores puede ser necesario un control especial).
  • elevación de la presión arterial (hipertensión).
  • acumulación de líquido bajo la piel, particularmente en los tobillos (edema periférico).
  • acumulación de líquido en los pulmones (edema pulmonar).
  • presión de la sangre alta durante el embarazo (preeclampsia o eclampsia).
  • aldosteronismo (enfermedad que causa la elevación de una hormona denominada aldosterona).
  • cualquier otra condición asociada a la retención de sodio (cuando el organismo retiene demasiado sodio), tales como el tratamiento con esteroides (véase también “Otros medicamentos y Viaflo Plasmalyte 148 (pH 7,4)”).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

  • Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, o cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico antes de utilizar este medicamento.
  • Podrá recibir Viaflo Plasmalyte 148 (pH 7,4) si está embarazada o con lactancia. Su médico vigilará la concentración sanguínea de sustancias químicas y la cantidad de líquido en el organismo.
  • Sin embargo, si se añadiese otro medicamento a la solución para perfusión durante el embarazo o la lactancia, usted deberá:
  • Preguntar a su médico
  • Leer el prospecto del medicamento que se le vaya a añadir

How to store it

  • Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños
  • Este medicamento no requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.
  • NO utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la bolsa después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
