How it works
From the US prescribing label for the same active substance (FLEQSUVY). It describes the substance, not this exact product.
The precise mechanism of action of baclofen is not fully understood.
Baclofen inhibits both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes at the spinal level, possibly by decreasing excitatory neurotransmitter release from afferent terminals, although actions at supraspinal sites may also occur and contribute to its clinical effect.
Baclofen is excreted primarily by the kidney in unchanged form, and there is relatively large intersubject variation in absorption and/or elimination.
Effect of Food Administration of FLEQSUVY with a high-fat meal resulted in 9% decrease in AUC and 33% decrease in C max compared to the fasted state.
