How it works
From the US prescribing label for the same active substance (LISDEXAMFETAMINE DIMESYLATE). It describes the substance, not this exact product.
Lisdexamfetamine is a prodrug of dextroamphetamine.
Amphetamines are non-catecholamine sympathomimetic amines with CNS stimulant activity.
Lisdexamfetamine is not metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes.
Effect of food on capsule formulation Neither food (a high fat meal or yogurt) nor orange juice affects the observed AUC and C max of dextroamphetamine in healthy adults after single-dose oral administration of 70 mg of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate capsules.
