How it works

From the US prescribing label for the same active substance (Oxycodone Hydrochloride). It describes the substance, not this exact product.

Oxycodone is a full opioid agonist and is relatively selective for the mu-opioid receptor, although it can bind to other opioid receptors at higher doses.

How it leaves the body

Free and conjugated noroxycodone, free and conjugated oxycodone, and oxymorphone are excreted in human urine following a single oral dose of oxycodone.

With food

Food Effect A single-dose food effect study was conducted in normal volunteers using the 5 mg/5 mL solution.
