What it is for
- Traitement substitutif chez les adultes, enfants et adolescents (0-18 ans) en cas de: • Déficits immunitaires primaires (DIP) avec une production d’anticorps diminuée. • Déficits immunitaires secondaires (DIS) chez les patients souffrant d'infections sévères ou récurrentes, d'un traitement antimicrobien inefficace et d'un déficit prouvé d’anticorps spécifiques (PSAF)* ou d'un taux sérique d'IgG < 4 g/l. * PSAF = Absence d'augmentation au moins égale au double de la concentration d'anticorps IgG contre les polysaccharides des pneumocoques et les vaccins polypeptide antigène (PSAF = proven specific antibody failure). Traitement immunomodulateur chez les adultes, enfants et adolescents (0-18 ans) en cas de: • Purpura thrombopénique primaire (PTI), chez les patients, en présence de risque hémorragique important ou pour corriger le taux de plaquettes avant une opération. • Syndrome de Guillain-Barré. • Maladie de Kawasaki (en association avec le l’acide acétylsalicylique, voir « Posologie/Mode d’emploi ») • Polyradiculoneuropathie inflammatoire démyélinisante chronique (PIDC). • Neuropathie motrice multifocale (NMM).
