Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico al principio activo o a otros medicamentos del grupo de los antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINEs), a la aspirina o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6). Las reacciones que indican la alergia podrían ser: erupción cutánea con picor, hinchazón de la cara, labios o lengua, secreción nasal, dificultad respiratoria o asma.
- Si padece una enfermedad grave del hígado o los riñones.
- Si ha tenido una úlcera o hemorragia de estómago o de duodeno o ha sufrido una perforación del aparato digestivo.
- Si vomita sangre.
- Si presenta heces negras o una diarrea con sangre.

Warnings and precautions
Con el ibuprofeno se han notificado signos de reacción alérgica a este medicamento, como problemas respiratorios, hinchazón de la cara y de la región del cuello (angioedema), y dolor torácico. Deje de utilizar inmediatamente ibuprofeno y póngase en contacto inmediatamente con su médico o con el servicio de urgencias médicas si observa alguno de estos signos.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar cualquier medicamento.
- No se debe tomar ibuprofeno durante el embarazo, especialmente durante el tercer trimestre (ver sección precauciones durante el embarazo y en mujeres en edad fértil).
- En la leche materna se excretan cantidades mínimas de ibuprofeno y sus productos de degradación. Como no se conocen efectos indeseables en el lactante, no suele ser necesario interrumpir la lactancia durante el uso a corto plazo a dosis recomendadas.
- Por ello, si se queda embarazada o está en periodo de lactancia, consulte a su médico.

Driving and using machines
Si usted experimenta mareo, vértigo, alteraciones de la visión u otros síntomas mientras esté tomando este medicamento, no deberá conducir ni utilizar maquinaria peligrosa. Si solamente toma una dosis, o lo toma durante un período corto, no es necesario que adopte precauciones especiales.

How to store it
- Mantener fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase y sobre. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
