How it works

Miconazole is an antifungal drug [see Microbiology (12.4)].
Metabolism and Excretion Most of the absorbed miconazole is metabolized by the liver with less than 1% of the administered dose found unchanged in urine.
Food Effect There was no formal food effect study conducted with ORAVIG; however, in clinical studies patients were allowed to eat and drink while taking ORAVIG.

How to take it

- adults use only. 1.Thoroughly wash your hands and theexternal vaginal area. 2.Open the package. 3.Remove the cap from the applicator. 4.Gently push the plunger to releasethe gel.

- Symptoms do not improve within 3 days. Symptoms last more than 7 days. A rash, hives, abdominal pain, fever, chills, nausea, or vomiting occurs. Irritation becomes severe.
