Topical analgesic

How it works
From the US prescribing label for the same active substance (LIDOCAINE). It describes the substance, not this exact product.
Lidocaine stabilizes the neuronal membrane by inhibiting the ionic fluxes required for the initiation and conduction of impulses, thereby effecting local anesthetic action.
Lidocaine is metabolized rapidly by the liver, and metabolites and unchanged drug are excreted by the kidneys.

Do not take it if
- more than 1 patch at a time on wounds or damaged skin with a heating pad
