What it is for
- Ibudol pediátrico contiene ibuprofeno y pertenece al grupo de medicamentos llamados antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINE).
- Este medicamento se utiliza en el tratamiento sintomático de la fiebre y del dolor ocasional de intensidad leve a moderado en niños a partir de 3 meses hasta los 12 años.

Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico (hipersensible) a ibuprofeno o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6) o a otros medicamentos del grupo de los antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINEs) o a la aspirina. Las reacciones que indican la alergia podrían ser: erupción cutánea con picor, hinchazón de la cara, labios o lengua, secreción nasal, dificultad respiratoria o asma.
- Si padece una enfermedad grave del hígado o los riñones.
- Si ha tenido una úlcera o hemorragia de estómago o de duodeno o ha sufrido una perforación del aparato digestivo.
- Si vomita sangre.
- Si presenta heces negras o una diarrea con sangre.

Warnings and precautions
- Con el ibuprofeno se han notificado signos de reacción alérgica a este medicamento, como problemas respiratorios, hinchazón de la cara y de la región del cuello (angioedema), y dolor torácico. Deje de utilizar inmediatamente Ibudol Pediátrico y póngase en contacto inmediatamente con su médico o con el servicio de urgencias médicas si observa alguno de estos signos.
- Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a tomar este medicamento:
- Si tiene edemas (retención de líquidos).
- Si padece o ha padecido algún trastorno del corazón o tiene tensión arterial alta.
- Si padece asma o cualquier otro trastorno respiratorio.
- Si está recibiendo tratamiento con este medicamento, ya que puede enmascarar la fiebre, que es un signo importante de infección, dificultando su diagnóstico.

Driving and using machines
Si experimenta mareo, vértigo, alteraciones de la visión u otros síntomas mientras está tomando este medicamento, no debe conducir ni utilizar maquinaria peligrosa. Si solamente toma una dosis de ibuprofeno o durante un periodo corto, no es necesario que adopte precauciones especiales.

Side effects
Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Ibudol Pediátrico puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran. La incidencia de efectos adversos es menor en tratamientos cortos y si la dosis diaria está por debajo de la dosis máxima recomendada.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.
- Periodo de validez después de la apertura: 6 meses.

• Los demás componentes (excipientes) son: maltitol líquido (E-965), glicerol (E-422), celulosa microcristalina, citrato sódico (E-331), goma xantana, ácido cítrico anhidro, benzoato sódico (E-211), sacarina sódica (E-954), polisorbato 80, esencia de naranja (contiene etanol y propilenglicol (E-1520)) y agua purificada.
