  • Ibufén Infantil contiene ibuprofeno como principio activo pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos llamados antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINE).

Do not take it if

  • si es alérgico (hipersensible) a ibuprofeno o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6), o a otros medicamentos del grupo de los antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINEs) o a la aspirina. Las reacciones que indican la alergia podrían ser: erupción cutánea con picor, hinchazón de la cara, labios o lengua, secreción nasal dificultad respiratoria o asma.
  • si padece una enfermedad grave del hígado o los riñones.
  • si ha tenido una úlcera o hemorragia de estómago o de duodeno o ha sufrido una perforación del aparato digestivo.
  • si padece trastornos hemorrágicos o de la coagulación sanguínea, o está tomando anticoagulantes (medicamentos utilizados para “fluidificar” la sangre). Si es necesario utilizar a la vez medicamentos anticoagulantes, el médico realizará unas pruebas para la coagulación sanguínea.

How to take it

Warnings and precautions

  • Informe a su médico:
  • Si tiene edemas (retención de líquidos).
  • Si padece o ha padecido algún trastorno del corazón o tiene tensión arterial alta.
  • Si padece asma o cualquier otro trastorno respiratorio.
  • Si ya está recibiendo tratamiento con este medicamento ya que puede enmascarar la fiebre, que es un signo importante de infección, dificultando su diagnóstico.
  • Si padece una enfermedad de los riñones o del hígado, tiene más de 60 años o necesita tomar el medicamento de forma prolongada (más de 1 a 2 semanas), es posible que su médico deba efectuar controles de forma regular. Su médico le indicará la frecuencia de estos controles.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

El uso de este medicamento no se recomienda en mujeres que estén intentando quedarse embarazadas. Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.

Driving and using machines

Si experimenta mareo, vértigo, alteraciones de la visión u otros síntomas mientras está tomando este medicamento, no debe conducir ni utilizar maquinaria peligrosa. Si solamente toma una dosis de ibuprofeno o durante un periodo corto, no es necesario que adopte precauciones especiales.

Side effects

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Ibufén Infantil puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran. La incidencia de efectos adversos es menor en tratamientos cortos y si la dosis diaria está por debajo de la dosis máxima recomendada.

How to store it

  • Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
  • Este medicamento o requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.
  • Una vez abierto el envase, conservar por debajo de 25ºC un máximo de 6 meses.
