What we got wrong, and fixed

Every correction to published information, dated, with what it said before and what it says now. Nothing is changed quietly.

  1. · BPC-157

    It said
Said BPC-157 was removed from the FDA’s 503A Category 2 list on 15 April 2026, and said nothing of later events.
    It now says
Says it was removed in April 2026 (the FDA list is dated 22 April 2026), and adds the 23–24 July 2026 advisory committee vote recommending it for the 503A Bulks List.
    Why
Re-checked against the FDA’s own pages. The earlier date did not match them, and the July vote had happened since the entry was written.

    FDA — Category 2 list

  2. · BPC-157

    It said
Cited an FDA page that no longer exists (it returned 404).
    It now says
Cites the FDA’s current Category 2 page and the advisory committee meeting page.
    Why
A source link that does not open is not a source.
  3. · Peptides

    It said
Printed monthly search-volume figures ("roughly 301,000 US searches a month") in reader-facing text.
    It now says
    The figures are removed.
    Why
They were not measured by this project, and a page that asks readers to trust its sources should not print an unsourced number.
  4. · Prescription medicine pages

    It said
The “Do not take it if” section on prescription labels was attributed to the label section “OTC — Do Not Use”.
    It now says
It is attributed to the section it actually comes from, “Contraindications”.
    Why
Attribution has to name the section the words were taken from.
  5. · Bulgarian products, in English

    It said
English pages about Bulgarian products printed the register’s form, company and country in Cyrillic.
    It now says
English pages show the English form, company names transliterated (with companies’ own Latin spellings), and English country names. Bulgarian pages are unchanged.
    Why
A reader who chose English saw Bulgarian, which read as the language setting not working.
