How it works
This product’s leaflet is published as a scanned document. This section quotes the US prescribing label for the same active substance (dexamethasone). It describes the substance, not this Bulgarian product — its uses and doses can differ.
Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory effects and low mineralocorticoid activity.
The precise mechanism of action in multiple myeloma is unknown.
Dexamethasone is metabolized by CYP3A4.
Less than 10% of dexamethasone is excreted in the urine.
