How it works

Diclofenac has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties.
The mechanism of action of diclofenac, like that of other NSAIDs, is not completely understood but involves inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).
Little or no free unchanged diclofenac is excreted in the urine.
Food has no significant effect on the extent of diclofenac absorption.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- при раждането. ВОЛТАРЕН ФОРТЕ 2,32% Гел трябва да се прилага единствено след лекарска препоръка през първите 6 месеца от бременността, дозата да бъде възможно най-ниска и продължителността на лечението възможно най-кратка.
- Пероралните форми (напр. таблетки) на диклофенак могат да предизвикат нежелани реакции при все още нероденото Ви бебе. Не е известно дали същият риск се отнася за ВОЛТАРЕН ФОРТЕ 2,32% Гел, когато се използва върху кожата.
- ВОЛТАРЕН ФОРТЕ 2,32% Гел трябва да се използва единствено след лекарска препоръка по време на кърмене, тъй като диклофенак преминава в малки количества в кърмата.
- Поради това обстоятелство ВОЛТАРЕН ФОРТЕ 2,32% Гел не трябва да се прилага върху гърдите на кърмещи майки, нито на друго място върху големи области от кожата и за продължителен период от време.
