Do not take it if
- Si es alérgico al ibuprofeno o a alguno de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
- Si ha ha sufrido alguna reacción como broncoespasmo, crisis de asma, inflamación de la mucosa nasal, angioedema o erupciones cutáneas tras haber tomado ácido acetilsalicílico u otros antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINE).
- Si padece trastornos de la coagulación sanguínea no aclarados.
- Si sufre una enfermedad grave del hígado o los riñones.
- Si ha tenido alguna hemorragia o perforación gastrointestinales (es decir, del tubo digestivo) relacionada con el tratamiento con AINE.
- Si tiene o ha tenido de forma recurrente úlcera de estómago o duodeno (úlcera péptica) o hemorragia gastrointestinal (dos o más episodios confirmados de úlcera o hemorragia).
- Si padece insuficiencia cardíaca grave.

Warnings and precautions
- Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a tomar este medicamento.
- Ibuprofeno solo debe utilizarse tras una valoración estricta de la relación beneficio/riesgo en caso de:
- determinadas enfermedades hereditarias que afectan a la sangre (p. ej., porfiria intermitente aguda);
- ciertos trastornos del sistema inmunitario (lupus eritematoso sistémico y enfermedad mixta del tejido conjuntivo).
- Se requiere una cuidadosa supervisión médica en caso de:
- trastornos gastrointestinales o enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal crónica (colitis ulcerosa, enfermedad de Crohn);
- mal funcionamiento de los riñones o el hígado;
- deshidratación;
- aumento de la presión arterial o insuficiencia cardíaca;

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Si está embarazada o en periodo de lactancia, cree que podría estar embarazada o tiene intención de quedarse embarazada, consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de utilizar este medicamento.

Driving and using machines
En casos aislados, los pacientes que toman ibuprofeno pueden sufrir una reacción adversa caracterizada por cansancio, mareos y alteraciones visuales, por lo que su tiempo de reacción y su capacidad para conducir y manejar maquinaria pueden verse afectados. Estos efectos se ven potenciados por el consumo simultáneo de alcohol.

Side effects
- Al igual que todos los medicamentos, este medicamento puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

How to store it
- Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.
- No conservar a temperatura superior a 25 ºC.
- No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el blíster o la caja después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.
