How it works
This product’s leaflet is published as a scanned document. This section quotes the US prescribing label for the same active substance (loperamide hydrochloride). It describes the substance, not this Bulgarian product — its uses and doses can differ.
In vitro and animal studies show that loperamide hydrochloride acts by slowing intestinal motility and by affecting water and electrolyte movement through the bowel.
Loperamide binds to the opiate receptor in the gut wall.
In vitro loperamide is metabolized mainly by cytochrome P450 (CYP450) isozymes, CYP2C8 and CYP3A4, to form- N-demethyl loperamide.

- Посъветвайте се с Вашия лекар или фармацевт преди употребата на което и да е лекарство.

How to store it
- Това лекарство може да се съхранява само за ограничен период от време.
- Не използвайте Имодиум Експрес след срока на годност, отбелязан върху картонената опаковка.
- Срокът на годност отговаря на последния ден от посочения месец.
- Да се съхранява на място, недостъпно за деца.
